EB-5 Petitioner’s New Designation

June 13, 2020 – The United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) recently updated their form I-526, an essential document part of an EB-5 petition. Previously, the petitioner was named “entrepreneur”. As per the recent change, the petition is now named “Investor”. Find the form I-526 here: https://www.uscis.gov/i-526

The EB-5 program allows successful petitioners and their family members (spouse and child under the age of 21 years old) to acquire conditional resident status in the United States. The visa conditions can be lifted after two (2) years and the US citizenship acquired after five (5) years.
